From 2003 through 2007 at the Great American Beer Festival, Old Milwaukee took home five Gold Medals in the American Style Lager Category and one Gold Medal in the Non-Alcoholic Malt Beverage Category. The beer also received a Silver and a Bronze Medal in the American Style Light Category.

In 2008 Old Milwaukee Light took the Gold Award at the World Beer Cup© in the American-Style Light Lager category.
